Coffees that taste of jasmine

Of the 182 coffees in this catalogue, 13 carry jasmine as a tasting note — most often Peru, Colombia and Panama lots at a light roast, priced $21.00 – $70.00.

The classic high-floral note: perfumed, delicate, closer to tea than to fruit. It is the signature of Ethiopian washed coffee and of Gesha, and it fades fast, so a jasmine coffee is worth drinking soon after roasting.

Most of them are washed-processed, though the note also appears in honey lots. It most often shares a bag with bergamot, peach and lemon.
