About Archiver Coffee
Archiver Coffee is a public catalogue and log for specialty coffee: 182 coffees from 64 roasters, 112 cafés across Twin Cities, Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, Kansas City and St. Louis, and a 100-point scoring method adapted from the SCA Coffee Value Assessment.
You track every bag you drink in one place, score it if you want to, and keep a shelf of what you have had, what you are drinking and what you want next. Sharing is opt-in: by default a log is visible only to followers you have accepted.
The catalogue is hand-curated rather than scraped. Every roaster was chosen deliberately, every coffee entered with its origin, region, producer, variety, process, altitude, price and release date, and every café checked against its own listings. Anything that could not be confirmed is marked unverified on the page rather than quietly presented as fact. That is slower than crawling shop pages and it is the reason the data is worth anything.
Nothing here is for sale in a ranking. Roasters can pay for a claimed page, a slot in the weekly release feed and a featured rail — and none of that can move a coffee up a ranked list or change a score. Paid placement lives in its own rail and is labelled. A ranking a roaster can buy is worthless to the person reading it and worthless as data.
Scores come from drinkers, not from us. There is no editorial 100-point score, no review fee, and no arrangement under which a roaster sees a score before it is published.
